To meet the assessment requirements in full, participants will need to complete a workplace logbook post-course to demonstrate transfer of skills. This includes the inspection, testing and maintenance of two non-gaseous systems, using different extinguishing agents and completing the following maintenance activities for each system:

  • replacing the agent and recharging the system to operational condition
  • replacing one component within the extinguishing system with approved replacement componentry
