The HLTAID003 Provide First Aid course is designed to provide you with first aid skills. You will learn to recognise an emergency and provide first aid care.
This first aid course replaces the old Senior First Aid and Apply First Aid courses.
Our Trainers will provide you with easy ways to recall first aid skills in an emergency.
This one day first aid training course is suitable everyone. Our trainers will apply the learning material to your individual situation.

Provide First Aid
The HLTAID003 Provide First Aid course meets all the requirements set out by the ARC guidelines. This first aid training course provides candidates with the skills to provide a first aid response to a casualty.

This first aid training course is aimed at individuals who may be required to provide first aid in a range of situations including.
- workplace.
- community settings.
- recreational settings.
- sporting activities.
HLTAID003 Provide First Aid content will prepare you:
- To respond to an emergency situation
- Apply appropriate first aid procedures
- Communicate details of the incident
- Evaluate the incident and your own performance.
HLTAID003 Provide first aid
There are a number of entry requirements in order for participants to successfully complete the qualification. These entry requirements are as follows:
Communication
Participants are required to speak and write in English along with good literacy and numeracy skills. In order to meet the competency of this course, participants will be required to communicate complex skills to other participants.
All participants requiring any further assistance in literacy or numeracy support may be referred to a third party provider at an additional cost. Once the participant is ready they can then commence the course.
Physical capacity
Must be able to get on the floor to perform CPR for 2 minutes on a minimal of 2 occasions
Access to Technology
Learners are also required to have access to a computer or laptop to enable them to complete the ELearning component
