Are your courses nationally recognised?
Yes. Our accredited courses follow Australian national training standards and compliance requirements.

How do I obtain a USI?
To enrol in a course for a nationally recognised qualification at PTI, it is required by law to provide your Unique Student Identifier (USI). Find your USI on the USI website.
What is a USI?
The USI is a reference number made up of ten characters (numbers and letters) that creates a secure online record of your recognised training and qualifications gained in Australia from all training providers you undertake recognised training with.
Benefits of a USI
It gives you access to your training records and transcripts online, anytime and anywhere.
It is free and easy to create.
It stays with you for life.
Your USI allows you to produce a comprehensive written record of your training, which can be used when applying for a job, seeking a credit transfer, or demonstrating prerequisites when undertaking further training.
How to Create a USI?
Visit the USI website at https://usi.gov.au/ for more information and instructions on how to apply.
Do you provide recognition of prior learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer?
PTI recognises prior learning and grants credit towards VET courses where previous learning is equivalent to the course content and outcomes.
For recognition of prior learning, candidates are required to submit evidence (e.g., work samples, testimonials, portfolios) demonstrating their skills and knowledge. This evidence is assessed against the requirements of the qualification.
Credit Transfer Candidates are required to provide documentation (e.g., transcripts, certificates) showing they have already completed equivalent units in a nationally recognized training program.
