Entry Requirements
Communication
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Participants require access to a personal computer or tablet and have basic computer skills to enable use of the on-line learning system.
- Assessors can provide additional support to participants as requested. If specialised support, such as an interpreter, is required, further costs may be incurred.
Physical capability
- Participants must be physically able to conduct good manual handling techniques. You should be able to safely pick up 15-20kg and conduct 10 minutes of mild continuous exercise.
Driver’s License
- Have a valid or the equivalent of an Australian driver’s license.
Pre-Enrolment Requirement
PTI requires all prospective students to complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Literacy (LLND) self-assessment before enrolment is finalised.
This screening is conducted online and takes approximately 10–15 minutes. PTI uses LLND results to identify support needs and offer reasonable adjustments, such as additional tutorials, mentoring, or modified delivery formats.
This ensures students are set up for success from the start.
